Careers
We hire carefully. For good reason.
A small team means every person on it has a direct, significant impact. That's a responsibility we take seriously — in both directions.
Current openings
No open positions right now.
We don't have active listings at the moment. We're a focused team building a focused product, and we add people when we're confident about the fit — not to hit headcount targets.
That said, we're always open to hearing from people who match what we look for. If that's you, reach out directly. No recruiters, no agencies — just honest conversations.
If you reach out
Tell us something real. Who you are, what you've built, what you care about in games, and why Syden specifically. A short, honest message beats a polished cover letter.
- What you do and what you're best at
- Something you built that you're genuinely proud of
- Your take on competitive multiplayer games
- What you want to work on
What we look for
The profile that fits.
We care more about how you think and what you've shipped than where you worked before.
Technical rigor
You hold your work to a high standard and don't ship things you're not proud of. You fix bugs before they become features.
Multiplayer sensitivity
You've played competitive games and you understand what makes them feel right or broken. You have opinions, and they're informed ones.
Ownership
When something is yours, you see it through. You don't wait for a ticket to fix something obviously wrong.
Craftsmanship
The difference between 80% and 100% matters to you. You understand that polish is not a luxury — it's the product.
Humility
You can be wrong and you can say so. Ego doesn't survive playtests, and neither does stubbornness. We value the ability to iterate over the need to be right.
Love for polished systems
You enjoy the process of designing and refining systems that feel clean, readable, and satisfying to interact with.
Working at Syden
What it's actually like.
We don't do performative culture. No ping-pong tables in the pitch, no meaningless perks. What we offer is a real chance to work on a game you can be proud of, with a team that gives a damn about the craft.
You'll have ownership over real things. You'll be expected to make decisions and defend them. You'll ship work that players interact with directly, and you'll feel it both ways.
Interested?
Say hello.
No open roles doesn't mean closed doors. If you're exceptional and you understand what we're building, we want to hear from you.
